process description: this process takes the all the dvds receipt detais and collect the return dvds payment details.

ans. We have 3 assesments in COIS20025 course for 2 term 2008.what i found is the first assesment is little bit easier than compare to the oher two assesment. mostly i suffered when i was doing the 2 assesment, it took me around one week to finish that assesment,because of i wasn’t feel wel on that period,so i found pretty difficult to finish that assesment.when come to third assesment which is posting blogs week by week. First two weeks i did easily from third week i didn’t submit the blogs on dates.finally it put me some tentions by the god grace i finished 3 assesment successfully.

2.What was difficult about it and how would you suggest it could be improved?

ans.it is helpful to gain the book knowledge and search some journals and articles from the website etc. iam sure every student may gain that experince.

ans: Actually i have come from mathematic back ground so i would like to turn my career towards informational technology. My goal to become as project manager.

5.How will you be able to use the knowledge and skills learnt in this course in your future career?

ans:i can use the knowledge from this coure to develop the information system.

ans. there are four types of maintenance task that are identified below.

1.corrective maintenance

2.Adaptive Maintenance

3.Preventive Maintenance

4.Perfective Maintenace

Corrective Maintenance: This system is mainly useed to recorrect the mistakes and perform fixing the error.the corrective maintenance system is prevent the logic error in systems and diagnoses.it mainly use this system for implementing the new version within SDLC.it also uses for corrective maintenace taking out through desgining, testing and investigating analysing.

Adaptive Maintenance: this system performs the new genration system.it is mainly use the capability of enhance of the new system.it generates the new system maintenance ther are increasing network capability, installing website,up dating housing listings etc..

Preventive Maintenance: the preventive maintenance system is mainly help to resolve the precaution of mistakes and number of errors in system.i is careful analysis and design and can be preventive length for ARCIS.this system is mostly use IT department staff to resolve errrs in syetm.

Perfective Maintenance: the perfective maintenance system is same as what operational system use to increase the reliability,efficiency etc. it is help to solve the task problem and also it can be solved by maintenance task.

                Another approach to systems development that is widely discussed is the object oriented methodology.  It views the system as a bottom-up approach to systems development.  To start with, it describes, the system through a set of business course it performs as well the object classes that these processes deals with.  It uses a set of diagrams or models to represent various views and functionalities of a system and is commonly known as Unified Modelling Language.

• The analysis model is not formal enough to be implemented directly in a programming language. To move seamlessly into the source code requires refining the objects by making decisions on what operations an object will provide, what the interblent communication should look like, what messages are to be passed , and so forth.
• The actual system must be adapted to the environment in which the system will actually be implemented. To, accomplish that the analysis model has tope transformed into a design model, considering different factors such as performance requirements, real time requirements and concurrency, the target hardware and systems software, the DBMS and programming languages to be adopted and so forth.
• The analysis results can be validated using object-oriented design. At this stage, u can verify if the results from the analysis are appropriate for building the system and make any necessary changes to the analysis model.

    the most common approach to system development is a structured based.it shows the step by step process to SDLC phases and activities.it helps to approach a system from top to bottom view. the centre of the structured approach is the process model,which depicts the business process of the system and the primary model that the process of a system,and first model that presents the process is data flow diagram(DFD).The DFDs and their data dictionary contain maily the information system about the systems design which are(input,output,data storage and procees model). It alsocalled structured system develop management and structured analysis and design techniqe(SADT), includes Information engineering(IE).

2.Object orinted system.

    Another approach to the system development that is wdely discussed is the object oriented (OO)methodology.this views the bottom-up to system development.To start with,it describes the set of business process information as well as object oriented class that these process deals with. it use the diagrams or models to represent various and functionalities of a system.and also known as Unified Modelling Language.

              In object oriented mainly we use fact finding techinque such as .who,when,where,what and how.and it also describes the system graphically.Because it focuses on the transform data into information. and it also called as structured centre.

            In taditional approcah, it contrast to SDLC, the object orientd development ife cycleis more like on onion.this includes system planning,system design,sytem implementing,system operation,sytem support and system security.

Answer:In addition to undestanding business operation,system development must know how to use a variety of techniques,such as modeling,prototyping,and computer-aided systems engineering tools to plan,design,and implement information system.To approach the system development must use these steps:

question:2.what is the object -oriented approach to system development?

Answer:Object-oriented system development is wideley recognized as improving productivity and reducing system maintenance costs. However, existing approaches have not sufficiently addressed the following three questions which are equally important to users and researchers. Firstly, what are the benefits of object-oriented system development compared to traditional approaches? Secondly, what are the essential features of an objectoriented life cycle model to fulfill the benefits of object-oriented.

Wheras structured analysis treats processes and data as separate components, object-orientd analysis(o-o) combines data and the processes that act on the into things called objects.to approach the system development  model real-world business processes use o-o.The result is a set of software objects that represent actual people,things,transactions,events.object-orientd approach to system development mainly one object can send information to another object by using a message.A message requests specific behaviour or information from anothe object.For example, an ORDER object might send a message to a CUSTOMER object that requests a shipping address.when it receives the message,the CUSTOMER object supplies the iformation.The ORDER object has capability to send the message, and the CUSTOMER object knows what actions to perform when it recives the message.O-O methodology is popular because it is flexible, is efficient,and provides an easy transition to O-O programming languages suchc as Visual Basic,Java,and C++,these mainly help for business to approach system development.

Answer:Alwyn Residential College,is a small regional university located on the West Coast of Australia.the current problem with the(ARCIS),student,faculty and staff do not have accomadation in the campus,only half of its students getting the dormitory space,other half of students do not have accomadation in campus.the main problem is private citizens owned the both university housing.

Answer:The Alwyn Residential College Information System(ARCIS) mainly need to keep the update date to date.the university must have the three lists these are undergraduate listings, graduate listings and faculty/staff listings.The college need some funds to eloberate the university campus,the new college president approved a requst tofund the develop of a system to provide easier access and maintenance of listings.
